Clothing maintenance
Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity and quality of your clothing, we recommend the following care guidelines:
Before First Use
- Wash all items to remove packing wrinkles and any residual dust or smell from sewing.
Fabric Details
- All our clothing is made from authentic African 100% cotton fabric.
Washing Recommendations
- Hand-wash in cold water with gentle, non-bleach soap.
- Use a small amount of fabric softener if desired.
- Wash each item separately to prevent color bleeding and maintain vibrant hues.
- Avoid soaking, bleaching, or tumble drying.
Drying and Ironing
- Hang items on a hanger to dry. Gently pull seams (collars, hems, cuffs) while drying to reduce wrinkles and make ironing easier.
- For ironing, use a low temperature and iron from the reverse side. For the best results, steam while hanging.
Machine Washing
- Machine washing is not recommended, as it may cause shrinkage and faster fading. If necessary, use only as a last resort.
Additional Notes
- Some color may bleed into the washing water; this is normal and does not affect the fabric's vibrancy.
